Honest review of the Honest cannabis accessory essentials | GreenState – GreenState

The world of weed accessories widens every day. New smoking devices, lighters, rolling trays, and other accouterments make waves on social media, but cannabis industry veterans quickly spot true innovation after seeing lots of tech repackaged and rebranded over the years. That’s what struck me about Honest: they’re trying something new with their pipes, bongs, and accessories.
When given the option to try out the Essentials Bundle, including the Path Pipe, Capsule Water Pipe, and select gear from the brand, I jumped at the opportunity. The pieces are designed to be taken on the road, with sealable compartments and built-in pokers. This thoughtful functionality paired with the minimalist aesthetic reminds me of the first time I saw the Puffco Peak.
Let’s get into it.
The Capsule offers something not many nice-sized bongs do: travel well. Don’t get me wrong: it’s not fit for backpacking, but those going on a road trip will dig the modular style. While the Path really got my attention, the Capsule has kept it. I’m a bong girl, after all, and I like this one.
Everything you need fits into the water chamber during travel. All the glass is outfitted with silicone caps to avoid breaking in transit.

Getting the Capsule set up is as easy as unscrewing the top, where the bowl is nestled, and pulling out the mouthpiece. Fill that with water. Then, take the topper off of the mouthpiece, screw it into the lid of the chamber, and voila–time to toke.
This thing absolutely chugs. By that I mean that the pull from a large chamber rolls at the velocity of a train just getting started. But it didn’t impact the hit—it just speaks to the bowl capacity it can take. Big rips are on the menu.
I love this bong, and I’m stoked to have a piece that can travel with me safely on my yearly road trip from the northwestern tip of the country to the southern border. This is the most functional traveling bong I’ve come across. It’s a yes from me.
After trying the suite of devices, I think people will come for the Path and stay for the Capsule. The Path is a stainless steel flat pipe that is small enough to fit into almost every jeans pocket and easily slide into a purse or backpack.
The thing is slender, and it is durable. Dropping this on a hard rock while toking during a hike won’t be the end of the sesh provided it doesn’t fall off of a cliff. The Path has a concealed bowl. The lid slides to reveal the flower chamber.
Pack it up and slide it closed to take on a hike or fishing trip, the bowl will be all ready when it’s time to sesh. The part of the lid that slides over the end sits above the carb, serving as an intuitive place to rest the pipe on your finger.
How I’ve gotten this far without mentioning the namesake of the thing is beyond me, but the Path gets its name from the unique journey the smoke takes from bowl to lungs. Smoke travels through the chamber and in a circle before taking seven switchbacks to the mouthpiece. This long journey is meant to cool the smoke, and it does.

Smoking out of the Path Pipe was novel because I haven’t hit anything exactly like it before. The smoke was smooth and cool, unlike some robust glass spoon pipes. The chamber didn’t heat up too much, and the poker worked great. I’d recommend this to someone who likes to have a to-go pipe handy.
This nifty gadget has my husband upset that he isn’t consuming cannabis anymore because it’s truly one of the cooler cannabis accessories I’ve seen to date. The StashLight is a wicked refillable lighter and joint tube combo.
The same thoughtful engineering went into the StashLight as its counterparts, the Path and Capsule. The torch is on top, with a lid for the joint tube on the bottom. Lighter fluid is kept as separate as possible from the flower. Honestly, something the size of a pen with a lighter and storage is a win for me—just keep some hemp wick around to smoke as safely as possible and conserve fluid.

A stellar set, I’d go as far as saying Honest might be an essential bundle of products for someone who likes taking their gear on the go. Honestly, the brand is breathing new life into the Utilitarian cannabis accessories world, and I am here for it. From now on, if you see me on the road, it’s probable that I’m smoking Honest.
