LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – The Lynchburg Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person who burglarized a business Monday night.
Police say the burglary occurred at the RISE Cannabis Dispensary on the 1100 block of Campbell Avenue around 11:35 p.m.
Officers responded to the reports of a police alarm and found the front door broken, but officers were unable to located anyone inside the building.
Police say security footage showed a man wearing glasses, a red shirt and black pants throw a brick through the glass window to enter the building; he then took various items.
According to police, the man stole “very low-value items” but there is no cost estimation of the stolen goods.
