BATTLE CREEK — Battle Creek Police have arrested four people in connection with a December break-in at a local marijuana dispensary.
The department’s Gang Suppression Unit started an investigation following the Dec. 30 break-in at Potter’s Cannabis Boutique, located at 2825 Capital Ave. SW.
With support from the Battle Creek Emergency Response Team, Community Oriented Policing Services division, and Michigan Department of Corrections Probation, they executed a search warrant on Wednesday at the Arbors apartment complex.
Through the investigation, a large amount of stolen marijuana was recovered and evidence related to the crime was seized, the department said in a news release. The total value of what was taken was $9,590, according to the city.
Three juveniles and one 18-year-old man, all residents of Battle Creek, are pending charges in the Calhoun County court system.
