STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The borough welcomed multiple brick-and-mortar weed shops this year, with more to come in 2025.
Be., High Stone, NugHub, The Flowery, The Weed Shoppe, and ZenZest all opened their doors to Mary Jane-loving Staten Islanders. With their own tailored selections varying from buds to joints to other niche items, every shop has their own distinct flair.
Not to mention, most of them deliver, too.
Cloutitude Dispensary and Gaslight Dispensary are the two other shops set to be coming to the Island in the future — tallying up the total to eight stores. There are 10 more licenses pending or active on Staten Island, according to the New York State government’s data website.

High Stone is the first dispensary on Staten Island to carry Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man’s TICAL weed brand, which offers two pre-rolls and a flower.
It is also a quick delivery service for Staten Islanders who want weed products, said High Stone Logistics Manager Matt Guido. Their delivery service kicked off on Feb. 2, 2024, and they offer a selection of pre-rolled joints, vape pens, vape cartridges, concentrates, edibles and smoking accessories.
Customers can place an order on their website. Deliveries are available seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with same day delivery expected on all orders received before 6:30 p.m. The physical location, which can be found at 1938 Clove Rd. in Concord, is nearing completion and has an anticipated opening in April.

NugHub opened its delivery service in January, and is currently delivering out of a warehouse on the Island while a Port Richmond storefront at 1350 Forest Ave. is being built. Beyond traditional weed products, like pre-rolled joints and flowers, NugHub also offers things like marijuana gummies, chocolates, honeys, pills, infused flower concentrates, oils, massage and lip balms, plus THC-containing sparkling waters, coffees, tea sachets, cider and lemonade, per previous Advance / SiLive.com reporting.
Co-founder Michael Gertelman confirmed that the NugHub physical storefront will open to the public in the next few weeks.
NugHub currently has three delivery vehicles on the road and makes deliveries from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. While they began their delivery journey on Staten Island and in Brooklyn, per the NugHub website, they will now deliver to locations in Manhattan, Queens and Nassau County as well.
They opened their doors to Staten Islanders in October.

The first adult-use marijuana dispensary to open on Staten Island has been up and running since Jan. 17, 2024, and is currently working on establishing a delivery service, according to previous Advance / SiLive.com reporting. With the help of “budtenders,” customers select their desired products on an iPad after being ID’d by security. Once an order is placed, The Flowery personnel will collect your purchases from a secure storage room and send you on your way. Products include things like marijuana flower, pre-rolled joints, concentrates and edibles, so there is a variety of things to choose from.
The Flowery is located at 3022 Veterans Rd. West and is open Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The second brick-and-mortar legal recreational dispensary opened its doors to customers on “Weed Day” this year — April 20 — at 4906 Arthur Kill Rd.
Owner and accountant Lenny Manning said the Weed Shoppe offers a broad array of THC and Hemp products, including a line especially for women.
“We have picked award winning products. We’re keeping it to very, very good stuff,” he said.
ZenZest

Located in the Roman Plaza shopping center in Mariners Harbor, ZenZest will cater to any and every weed product a customer might want to purchase, according to owner Rinkesh Shethiya.
Legally vetted flowers, topicals, edibles, concentrates, vapes and even some accessories will be available in the new store, which Shethiya described as “a safer alternative” to the black market weed businesses permeating the city.
“We don’t want any customer to go back saying, ‘Oh, we didn’t find what we wanted in the store.’ That’s the goal,” he explained.
They opened their doors to customers back in October.

Cloutitude Dispensary will soon open its doors in Great Kills, replacing South Side Hardware – a storied neighborhood hardware shop that served Staten Islanders for a century before shuttering last fall.
“New York Legal Licensed Cannabis Dispensary Coming Soon,” notes a sign now displayed in front of 4034 Hylan Blvd., which has been completely renovated over the past seven months, its aisles of tools and home essentials gutted, and the former simple brick exterior refurbished with modern stone and tinted glass.
Not much information is available about Clouditude Dispensary – the name that now appears in bold letters above the shop’s entrance. A website has been created, but the homepage only offers a “Launching Soon” banner.
Gaslight Dispensary
Prior Advance/SiLive.com reporting revealed that two West Brighton stores, S&T Bagels and The Card & Gift Shop, are being moved out of their retail spaces so the state-approved Gaslight Dispensary can move in. The present businesses, which can be found at 463 and 465 Forest Ave., will have until March 31, 2024, to relocate. According to a spokesperson from New York State’s Office of Cannabis Management (OCM), the location was recently proven to be compliant by the state.
