Siskiyou County Sheriff's Deputy uncovers over 330 pounds of marijuana and 30 pounds of psychedelic mushrooms during a traffic stop on Wednesday.
SCSO says that 27-year-old Jaime Corona Barragan of Santa Rosa was the driver of a Sprinter Van when he got pulled over and his vehicle was searched near the Shasta Vista area.
The search of Barragan's vehicle led police to discover 6 large duffel bags and 6 large trash bags of illicit marijuana and psilocybin (psychedelic mushrooms).
Barragan was arrested and booked into the Siskiyou County Jail. SCSO says that a subsequent tally of the contraband found that Corona Barragan had been transporting over 330 pounds of illegally-grown marijuana and 30 pounds of psilocybin, which have a street value of $680,000 and $115,200 respectively.
