Delinquent Payment Reporting | Office of Cannabis Management – Office of Cannabis Management

Licensed cannabis suppliers (distributors, microbusinesses, cooperatives, RODs or RONDs) may, but are not required to, sell cannabis products to licensed cannabis retailers on credit. Suppliers can extend credit to any licensed retailer that is not currently on the C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) list. Retailers who purchase cannabis products on credit have 30 days to pay the bill in full.
Guidance for licensed suppliers and retailers clarifying the requirements for payments on credit purchase and delinquent payment reporting can be found here:

Licensed retailers who purchase cannabis products on credit must pay the bill within 30 days of the cannabis product being delivered. If you fail to pay the bill on time, the supplier is required to notify you and the Office that you are in default within 7 calendar days of the final payment date.
Once the Office is notified, has reviewed the report, and has determined the report to be valid, your business will be placed on the C.O.D. list until all suppliers that have reported any delinquencies have reported your payment(s) in full. If your business appears on the list, no supplier can sell cannabis products to you on credit. Licensed retailers can request information about the C.O.D. list by emailing [email protected].
The Office will provide you with information specific to your business only. If you are on the C.O.D. list, you will be provided with the supplier(s) who reported you as delinquent and how much they claim you owe them.
