As states across the U.S. expand into the realm of cannabis legalization, there is a need for patients and consumers alike to have a variety of cannabis dispensary payment options. But, since the beginning of the cannabis industry, businesses have struggled to provide a range of payment options to consumers due to the plant’s current status with the federal government.
Thankfully, in recent years, there has been an increase in financial service firms navigating and supporting marijuana-related businesses. By filing the correct reports, cannabis companies are able to hold bank accounts, pay payroll using direct deposit systems, and finding more ways to serve their consumers even better. Thanks to this progress, MÜV Dispensaries in Florida are now accepting debit cards! Read on for the full details.
Access to medical cannabis is a top priority to us at MÜV. Accessibility starts with being able to purchase cannabis to begin with, and being able to keep that purchase within a budget. But we know that accessibility is truly available when patients have different ways of paying for their medical cannabis.
That’s why MÜV now has three ways to pay!
Debit cards are accepted for cannabis purchases at MÜV! If you’re banking-savvy and curious as to how this is possible, cashless ATM withdrawals is the answer.
Cashless ATM withdrawals are made in $10 increments – that means that for a $125 purchase, you will be charged $130. Like a standard ATM, there is a $3 fee associated with cashless ATM withdrawal payment, in addition to any other ATM fees your bank may impose.
Debit payment is available ONLY as an in-store shopping option – unfortunately, delivery orders can only be processed with cash or CanPay. As progress is made in the cannabis industry and financial institutions are willing to cooperate with cannabis businesses there will be more forms of payment made available.
While debit card payments are not yet available at every location, they will be soon! Take a look above at the Florida dispensaries you can shop cannabis and pay with debit.
Cash has been the main way primary means to purchasing cannabis, which is why it’s ol’ reliable. No matter how you choose to shop, cash is accepted. MÜV Dispensaries also have ATMs available on site at all locations. Keep in mind there are fees still associated with the ATMs that can add to the cost of your purchase.
CanPay is a debit app that connects directly to a checking account. With no fees attached, it is a great option for getting around the added cost – we like to think of it as ol’ reliable. Think ATM fees – which can quickly add more cost to a person’s cannabis budget.
Instead, you link your checking account to your CanPay account. This allows you to pay using a QR code when shopping in-stores, mitigating the need for the added stop to the ATM.
According to some patients, delivery is by far the easiest and most convenient way of shopping for cannabis. As it is becoming increasingly popular among more Floridians, we thought it would be best to go over a few quick tips about what to do when placing and expecting a delivery order from MÜV.

There are more ways to pay for things in this world than just cash, apps, and debit cards. Keep reading to see the details on other ways to pay.
Because PayPal does not work with cannabis companies, it is not currently an option of payment at MÜV. CanPay, however, is the next-best payment option!
Unfortunately, cannabis cannot be purchased with a credit card with the current status of cannabis as a schedule 1 drug.
At this time, MÜV does not accept any form of crypto currency to pay for cannabis. Fortunately, here are ATMs available that allow crypto currency users to get cash directly from their accounts, and MÜV does accept cash! These ATMs are not available at our dispensaries, but are often a short detour on your route to the store.
There are currently 46 MÜV locations that accept debit cards, with all new locations being the exception. To see a complete list of the locations, scroll back up and view the list under the section titled – MÜV now accepts debit!
